Chain - yarn over, pull through the loop on the hook. Slip stitch- insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.

 

Single crochet- insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.

 

Half-double crochet- yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on hook.

 

Double crochet- yarn over , insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through first two loops on hook, yarn over, pull through last two loops on the hook.

 

Triple crochet-Treble  crochet or triple crochet- yarn over two times, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through next two loops on hook, yarn over, pull through the last two loops on the hook.

 

Quad Crochet or Double Treble Crochet-
Step 1- Yarn over 3 times on the crochet hook giving you 4 loops on your hook. Insert your hook into 

the stitch, and pull through the loop. You should now have 5 loops on your hook. 

Step 2- Yarn over, pull through the first 2 loops, you should have 4 loops on the hook. 

Step 3- Yarn over, pull through the next 2 loops (3 times).

 

Quint Crochet-

Step 1- Yarn over 4 times on the crochet hook giving you 5 loops on your hook. Insert your hook into 

the stitch, and pull through the loop. You should now have 6 loops on your hook. 

Step 2- Yarn over, pull through the first 2 loops, you should have 5 loops on the hook. 

Step 3- Yarn over, pull through the next 2 loops (4 times).

 

Single crochet cluster- Insert hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, (2 loops on the hook), yarn over, insert hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through all 4 loops on the hook.

 

Half double crochet cluster- Yarn over, insert hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, (3 loops on the hook), yarn over, insert hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through all 5 loops on the hook.

 

Single crochet 2 together- Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop. Insert hook into the next stitch and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on the hook.

 

Front Post Double crochet- (fpdc): Yarn over, insert your hook going behind the next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over, and pull up a loop. You should have 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over, and pull through all 3 loops on the hook.
